NASA found that eight behaviours were much more important than technical ability when it came to avoiding mission failures and fatalities. Behaviours that promoted inclusion, clarity of purpose, mission and role clarity, for example, played an important role in establishing the accountability and trust required for NASA to be named Best Place to Work in federal government for the 12th year in a row (As at May 2024).
